About Ragen
Ragen Simpson, MSN, APRN, PMHNP, is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Agape Behavioral Healthcare, bringing more than a decade of nursing experience and extensive expertise in behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment.
Ragen joined Agape in January 2025 as Director of Nursing before transitioning into her current role as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has been a registered nurse since 2012 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing and became credentialed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
For the past eight years, Ragen has focused her career on behavioral health, working across both mental health and substance use treatment settings. Her experience includes nursing leadership positions such as Director of Nursing and Executive Vice President of Nursing, where she developed and led clinical programs focused on psychiatric care and substance use disorder treatment.
Ragen believes in a holistic, individualized approach to care that addresses the mind, body, and overall well-being of each patient. She values collaboration, open communication, and compassionate care, working closely with patients and multidisciplinary treatment teams to help individuals achieve meaningful and lasting improvements in their mental health and quality of life.
