Admissions at Agape Treatment Center
first step towards healing
The first step towards healing takes a great deal of courage. At Agape Treatment Center, we understand that a lengthy transition into treatment can be overwhelming, filled with hope and uncertainty all at once. Our admissions process is intentionally designed to be a bridge to treatment, not a barrier. By combining clinical sophistication with concierge-level hospitality, we create the conditions for immediate dignity, absolute discretion, and a completely streamlined pathway to care from your initial inquiry.
Our trained admissions specialists will carefully assist you through each logistical aspect of entering treatment, allowing you and your family to concentrate solely on the journey ahead. Whether you are reaching out for yourself or for somebody else, we will provide you with a compassionate, guest-first experience from the very moment of contact.
A Seamless Path to Healing
Our admissions pathway is specifically designed for individuals who require a high level of clinical support but who also appreciate a boutique-style, structured environment. Because we specialize in both outpatient and day treatment services, we offer the flexibility needed to support those balancing personal recovery with professional responsibilities.
From the initial inquiry to the first day of treatment, our team is dedicated to making this transition a seamless one. We do all of the “heavy lifting”—from comprehensive clinical evaluations to managing the details of insurance—allowing the patient to begin their healing journey with peace of mind.
The Admissions Timeline: Step-by-Step
Knowing what to expect is frequently the biggest factor in reducing the anxiety associated with seeking help. Below is the typical admissions timeline, designed to progress at a pace which respects your needs while maintaining necessary clinical safety.
Initial Connection and Confidential Assessment
Your journey starts with a private conversation, either through the phone or our secure web portal, with a dedicated treatment coordinator. This phase includes a comprehensive and free clinical assessment, enabling us to gather a deep understanding of your historical and current experiences as well as recovery goals.
It allows us to determine the appropriate level of clinical care and ensures our evidence-based program will meet your individual needs.
01
Insurance Verification and Financial Review
The financial process involved with entering a treatment facility should never act as a barrier to seeking help. Our insurance benefits specialists work with the majority of private insurances and we are in-network with top providers such as Aetna, BCBS, and Tricare in order to minimize out-of-pocket expenses.
We can quickly verify your benefits, obtain all necessary authorizations, and give you a transparent explanation of any deductibles or co-pays prior to entering treatment. This helps you know what to expect and avoid any surprises.
02
Individualized Treatment Mapping
Once the clinical and financial foundations have been laid, our medical and clinical leadership teams will come together to create your individualized treatment plan. Unlike many “one-size-fits-all” programs
we match specific therapeutic treatments to your assessment results. If you are a veteran, this is where we use the specialized process of Operation Agape to better meet your needs.
03
Orientation and Start Date
Once your treatment plan is established, we will coordinate your start date with you. When you arrive, you will receive a complete on-site orientation of our center and all of the staff members who will be supporting your progress moving forward.
When you begin either the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), or Outpatient Program, you will receive a detailed schedule and will be introduced to the Agape community—one of the integral components that makes the Agape experience unique.
04
Insurance and Private Pay Options
Agape Treatment Center has found a way to make high-quality behavioral health care available to everyone. Our admissions coordinators are experts in navigating the nuances in your insurance policy so you can get the most coverage possible. For clients who desire a higher level of confidentiality or simply want to avoid using an insurance claim to get into treatment, we offer easy private pay options. You will be allowed to enter our program immediately if you use a private-pay option. In addition, private pay options allow you an additional layer of confidentiality, as we do not have to report the treatment you receive to an insurance company.
Privacy, Job Protection, and Advocacy
At Agape, we know many of our clients have significant legal and employment responsibilities. We take every precaution to protect your privacy and livelihood while you are receiving treatment at our facility.
HIPAA Compliance
Your personal health information will be protected in accordance with federal HIPAA regulations. We will also ensure that your private health information remains private.
FMLA / Short Term Disability
Our case managers provide assistance for working professionals filing for Family Medical Leave (FMLA) and short-term disability claims. We will help you make sure that your job stays protected while you are working on improving your health.
Legal Liaison Services
If you are required to go through the legal system prior to beginning treatment at Agape, we will provide your attorney or the court with any required documentation and progress reports necessary for you to meet your requirements, so legal issues never disrupt your treatment.
