Natalia discovered her passion for helping others at a young age and pursued an undergraduate degree in religious studies and psychology at Florida International University. This inspired and motivated her to complete the master’s program for mental health counseling at Nova Southeastern University. It was during her internship at Susan B. Anthony’s Women’s Recovery Center that she discovered her passion for helping others struggling with substance use and other co-occurring disorders. Natalia is a registered mental health counselor intern and has been providing support and care in the substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment for over four years. Natalia considers herself to be an eclectic therapist and does not stick to one modality when working with her clients. She utilizes CBT, DBT, Gestalt therapy, and Client-Centered techniques, and she enjoys getting to know each client individually before deciding the right intervention to utilize. Natalia is also a Level II Reiki practitioner and incorporates energy healing when appropriate. Natalia believes in each and every one of her clients, making sure to meet them where they are on their recovery journey. Natalia assists her clients in developing a trusting relationship with themselves and encourages them to dive in to the process of self-exploration and discovery. She inspires others to find their true self while discovering their life’s purpose and immense potential.
